Manual Tester

We are seeking a highly skilled Manual Tester to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. The ideal candidate will have experience in manual functional testing, test case creation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual functional testing of web and mobile applications to guarantee they meet requirements and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on product owner input.
  • Validate bug fixes, track issues using Jira or similar tools, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains stable and secure.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and scrum masters to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure that defects are reported clearly, including steps to reproduce and an impact analysis.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies to align testing with delivery timelines and support UAT with clients and stakeholders.
Performance Metrics (KPIs):
  • Defect Detection Rate: 95% of critical issues identified before release.
  • Defect Leakage: 5% of high-severity issues reported post-release.
  • Test Coverage: 90% of functional requirements validated per sprint.
  • Bug Closure Rate: 90% of reported bugs resolved within committed sprint.
Qualifications:
  • 2–4 years of experience in manual QA testing for SaaS or enterprise platforms.
  • Strong understanding of functional, regression, and exploratory testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Trello, or similar).
  • Ability to write clear and structured test cases.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
