
Regional Supply Chain Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee the management of orders for regional sales teams within a defined customer service framework. This individual will be responsible for validating demand, prioritizing orders/customers based on specific parameters, and verifying demand with available POs, LCs, regulatory clearances, artwork details, SKU codes, IL checks, Mfg License checks, min shelf-life requirements, pre-shipment documents submission to customers & timelines, regulatory confirmations, and any other customer-specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate demand over the horizon and assign prioritization to orders/customers based on specific parameters.
- Verify demand with available POs, LCs, regulatory clearances, artwork details, SKU codes, IL checks, Mfg License checks, min shelf-life requirements, pre-shipment documents submission to customers & timelines, regulatory confirmations, and any other customer-specific requirements.
- Analyze order status in our systems to identify potential issues.
- Gather information on scheduling, material receipt, and dispatch schedules.
- Highlight potential issues that might affect defined timelines.
- Take end-to-end ownership of assigned orders for the region.
- Coordinate documentation related to shipments with CFT teams.
- Drive shipment planning with logistics teams and mitigate risks/delays proactively to avoid demurrage/penalties.
- Attend relevant meetings to gather data and information on open orders for the region and their status updates.
- Identify issues (e.g., artwork approval, batch size, minimum order quantity) that require resolution/approval/exemption by sales teams.
- Arrange cross-functional meetings to resolve bottlenecks related to priority orders to ensure on-time-in-full (OTIF) delivery.
- Collect feedback from timely resolution of issues with concerned stakeholders.
- Identify outstanding/open orders for defined priority customers.
- Analyze issues requiring immediate escalation to cross-functional teams for timely resolutions.
- Prioritize orders/customers based on defined parameters.
- Identify key stakeholders who need to be engaged to resolve outstanding issues.
- Provide the Head of Emerging Market SCM with detailed analysis on all outstanding orders for discussion in meetings.
Supply Chain Technology and Automation:
- Identify opportunities for implementing IT and automation in order management processes to improve supply chain visibility.
- Drive the implementation and rollout cycle for IT and technology automation within SCM jointly with IT.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and reporting (VBA macros, Power BI).
- Good understanding and experience of supply chain essentials, preferably in pharma.
- Ability to identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions.
- Essential SAP knowledge.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills.
- Decision-making, ability to prioritize dynamically.
- Negotiation skills/conflict resolution.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to understand and work around constraints.
- Plant PPIC concepts clarity; prior experience essential.
