Lead Piping Engineer Specialist

Job Description:

This role involves overseeing the design, analysis, and implementation of piping systems for industrial/domestic water and wastewater projects in the US. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of designers to deliver high-quality projects within specified timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, analyze, and implement piping systems for industrial/domestic water and wastewater projects.
  • Lead and supervise a team of designers to ensure project delivery meets quality standards.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide innovative design solutions.
  • Develop and review piping designs, including material selection, pipe sizing, and stress analysis under various operating conditions.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to interpret piping specifications, isometric drawings, and relevant documents.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience working on industrial wastewater treatment plants/WTPs, STPs. Proficiency in Revit, CADWorx, Plant 3D software and related tools is essential, as well as knowledge of industry codes and standards such as ASME B31.3, ASME B31.1, EN, and API 579.

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum 10+ years' experience in industrial wastewater treatment plants/WTPs, STPs.
  • Proficiency in Revit, CADWorx, Plant 3D software and related tools.
  • Knowledge of industry codes and standards such as ASME B31.3, ASME B31.1, EN, and API 579.
