Backend Development Expert

Job Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Java Spring and a proven track record of designing scalable backend systems. This professional should have experience leading teams, collaborating closely with clients, and contributing to the full development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and databases focusing on performance, security, and scalability.
  • Define and maintain well-documented, versioned APIs for internal and external consumption.
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code aligned with industry best practices and standards.
  • Conduct rigorous unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure application quality and reliability.
  • Lead and participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for production issues and ensure long-term resolutions.
  • Own and manage system observability using Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry.
  • Set up and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to ensure platform stability.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams for smooth deployments using AWS EKS, Kubernetes, and related cloud infrastructure tools.
  • Engage in on-call rotations to maintain high availability and provide rapid incident response.
  • Communicate and coordinate with clients and cross-functional teams, understanding and translating requirements into technical solutions.
  • Stay up to date with emerging backend technologies and contribute to architectural improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years of backend development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and backend performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, especially EKS and Kubernetes for deployments.
  • Proficiency with observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and OpenTelemetry.
  • Good understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with clients.
