Software Engineer Intern Opportunity

As a skilled software engineer intern, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features, participate in code reviews, and contribute to the improvement of our existing codebase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain robust web applications using PHP and Laravel.
  • Collaborate with teams to design and implement new features, ensuring seamless integration and efficient development.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the enhancement of our codebase, promoting best practices and coding standards.
  • Work closely with senior developers to gain insights into industry trends and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and frameworks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of core PHP and MVC architecture, with hands-on experience in developing web applications.
  • Proficiency in Laravel framework, including routes, controllers, models, migrations, and blade templates, as well as database knowledge, including MySQL or PostgreSQL basics, writing queries, and understanding relationships.
  • Frontend fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and integrating with Laravel views, REST APIs, and version control, including basic Git/GitHub commands like commit, push, pull, and branching.
  • Composer knowledge, including package management in Laravel, and basic debugging skills, including troubleshooting errors and using Laravel's error logs.

Benefits:

  • This is an internship position with a 3-month duration.
  • A stipend of 4k-6k per month will be provided.

Additional Information:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
  • Experience with Laravel and PHP is a plus.
  • Problem-solving mindset, willingness to learn new tools and frameworks, and ability to follow coding standards and guidelines are essential.
