Automation Test Leadership Role

This leadership role focuses on overseeing the development and execution of automated tests to ensure high-quality software releases.

  • Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, and maintain automation test data to drive informed decision-making.
  • Continuously enhance automated tests as new system features and enhancements are developed to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Execute automated tests and manage the resulting defect log through the point of defect fix validation to ensure seamless resolution.
  • Ensure appropriate test environments and infrastructures are in place and kept up-to-date to support efficient testing.
  • Identify and report questionable functions, performance concerns, and inconsistencies to inform process improvements.
  • Document and mentor QA engineers in testing framework usage to promote knowledge sharing and growth.
  • Assist in tool, technology, and practice identification and implementation for overall QA process improvement.
  • Contribute to accurate time estimates for automation test development to ensure realistic project timelines.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of Defect Management, Bug life cycle, Performance management to drive effective testing strategies.
  • Strong debugging skills and ability to trace failing code to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Experience building automation frameworks for web-based software and mobile platforms to support diverse testing needs.
  • Strong background in object-oriented programming language to ensure robust and scalable test solutions.
  • Integration with Jenkins CI/CD framework to streamline testing processes.
  • Strong SQL skills and/or data validation to support data-driven testing.
  • Ability to articulate and drive sustainable processes to promote long-term success.
  • Strong interpersonal, project management, and organizational skills to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum environment to support iterative development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
