Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust, scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality, maintainable code following best practices
  • Debug and enhance legacy systems with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and scalability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time
  • Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases with a focus on performance and data integrity
  • Deploy and manage infrastructure using AWS services and Kubernetes (K8s)
  • Contribute to technical documentation and participate in agile workflows

Key Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of professional software development experience, primarily with Ruby on Rails
  • Strong debugging skills and experience working with legacy systems
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL and relational database design
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes
  • Proven ability to write high-quality unit tests
  • Excellent written communication skills and a habit of thorough technical documentation
