We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our Higher Education Committee and Taskforces. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education policy, regulatory affairs, and project management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Thought Leadership/Policy Advocacy work in Higher Education: Develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive positive change.
  • Committee Management: Conduct periodic meetings, develop agendas, prepare minutes, and execute bespoke projects that align with our organization's goals.
  • Event Planning: Organize and manage the annual global FICCI Higher Education Summit, showcasing innovative ideas and best practices.
  • Partnerships: Develop strategic relationships with University leaders, multilateral/bilateral organizations, and other stakeholders to enhance our impact.

Key Competencies:

  • Comprehensive understanding of higher education landscape (policy, regulatory, etc)
  • Ability to interface with stakeholders at mid/senior level (govt, regulatory, universities, industry, etc)
  • Excellent presentation skills and MS office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Forms, Teams)

Requirements:

  • MBA / MBE / MSW / MA – Economics / Social Sciences / Other disciplines
  • 4-12 years of relevant experience
  • Prior experience of working in education or other social sectors (preferred)
