Purpose of the Job:

To establish new connections with clients for student placements and internships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute successful campus recruitment strategies to achieve career outcomes for graduating students.
  • Prioritize candidates with industry connections in Media & Journalism.
  • Achieve individual targets for recruitment, summer internships, and live projects.
  • Support team members as needed and convert new accounts through targeted outreach.
  • Plan corporate engagement activities, including guest lectures, workshops, and competitions.
  • Manage student career services, including career counseling, grooming, and interview preparation support.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including Alumni, Faculty, Administration, Marketing, and Admissions teams, to achieve institutional objectives.
  • Maintain strong networks within the corporate HR community.
  • Closing deals with senior HR professionals and functional leaders.
  • Create new placement partners based on placement loads and manage existing partners for repurchase.
  • Host student counselling sessions and corporate engagement activities.

Working Arrangements: Monday to Saturday, Sunday off

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High integrity, with preference for Edtech experience
  • Familiarity with industry demographics is advantageous
