Security Expert Advisor

The Security Expert Advisor will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security protocols within the Workday application. This includes domain security policies, roles, and role assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain security protocols within Workday application
  • Advise on security domain policies, roles, and role assignments
  • Coordinate with vendors to understand new technology scope and association with new functionality and security
  • Develop and maintain awareness of divisional and data security and comply with established policies and procedures
  • Participate in report reviews, including understanding and ensuring security and data privacy standards
  • Stay updated on new security features within the application's future roadmap, and implement where possible
  • Perform audits on system roles and access logs to ensure accuracy
  • Demonstrate proof of security controls during internal and external audits

Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of Workday security features and controls
  • Understanding of SOX and data privacy regulations
  • Ability to accurately collect information to understand and assess clients' needs and situations
  • Working knowledge of HR/Finance information systems, data models, organization structures, and roles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with functional and IT clients
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable enforcing adherence to security policies and practices
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
