Job Title: Senior Design Lead

This is an urgent job opening for a professional who can oversee the coordination and planning of design-related tasks.

  • Must be able to read drawings and provide comments on them furnished by consultants.
  • Value engineering in terms of optimization of design & its details from cost and safety parameters.
  • Co-ordination with architects & other stakeholders including services consultants, liaison, clients, etc.

The ideal candidate should have experience in real estate construction sites (high end residential, hotel & commercial) and at least 10-12 years of experience in construction project management for real estate sites.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Design co-ordination related tasks such as reading drawings, commenting on them, value engineering and co-ordination with architects and other stakeholders.
  2. Planning related tasks such as arranging and preparing MOM, bar chart manpower planning, material planning, DPR, WPR & MPR, cash flow statement, various tracking tools like S-curve, EV analysis, risk log preparation, delay log, preparing & maintaining documentation like drawing tracker, site related case studies & best practices, checking contractor bills & measurements.
  3. Procurement related tasks such as review of tender documents, preparation of query list for clarification on tender documents & BOQ's, tender event schedule preparation for the procurement packages of the project, prequalification report preparation for shortlisted vendors, issuing RFP to vendors, preparation of commercial comparative with recommended rates for negotiations with vendors, recommendation report preparation, preparation of draft work order for finalized vendors.

The system will apply Microsoft Project tool for scheduling and tracking. The system will also ensure that the project timeline is realistic and achievable.
