Job Title: Senior Network Architect

The role of a Senior Network Architect involves leading the design, implementation, and management of complex networks. This includes developing innovative solutions for network scalability, reliability, and security.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for network design and architecture.
  • Lead teams responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining complex networks across multiple data centers, cloud platforms, and virtualized environments.
  • Maintain robust networking environments by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards for a global enterprise environment.
  • Deploy scalable and secure networking solutions that promote efficiency, reliability, and performance.
  • Manage multi-vendor and multi-protocol networks to ensure seamless communication between systems.
  • Collaborate with network architects on optimizing network performance and troubleshooting network problems.
  • Ensure that network design and implementation meets disaster recovery and business continuity requirements.
Qualifications:

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • At least 5 + years' experience in enterprise data center networking hardware (switches, firewalls, load balancers, etc.)
  • Experience with Cloud Hosting Technologies such as AWS, GCP, Azure & RackSpace.
  • Familiarity with server and storage infrastructure and how they integrate with the network.
  • Scripting experience such as shell scripting, Ansible and Python.
  • Proficiency in maintaining Production Networks - VLANs, MPLS, SDWan, Internet , IP-as-a-Service, DNS, BGP Monitor.
  • Ability to maintain and configure VPNs, ACL and Firewall rules, Network Address Translation (NAT).
  • A deep understanding of network protocols and hardware.
  • Experience with VoIP and collaboration technologies.
  • A solid understanding of application protocols.
  • IP management, Password mgt, Network Alerting.
  • Candidates are expected to exhibit good judgment in all cases and be comfortable making decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work outside normal business hours when needed.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or similar experience.
