Senior C++ Software Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior C++ Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, enhance and develop our core backend services that handle billions of requests for our platform.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Working independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to break down complex problems into defined prioritized tasks;
  • Driving end-to-end thinking within the team to deliver well-tested and easy-to-operate code in production;
  • Mentoring and guiding junior engineers, providing technical expertise and constructive feedback to maintain high coding standards;
  • Actively identifying opportunities for system optimization, performance improvements, and code refactoring to ensure scalability and robustness;
  • Communicating technical concepts to colleagues and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with C++11 and later C++ standards;
  • Multi-threading programming;
  • Deep knowledge and experience with asynchronous programming paradigms;
  • Experience working with heterogeneous systems;
  • Experience with RPC communications like REST/gRPC/Thrift etc;
  • Proven ability to learn other languages and platforms;
  • Experience with CI/CD scripting and deployment of artifacts;
  • Good operational hygiene;
  • Experience working in an agile environment, delivering high-quality software iteratively;
  • Strong code comprehension skills to onboard quickly to existing code repositories;
  • Cloud technologies (hosting, cloud services, containerization etc) is a plus;
  • Team lead/project lead experience is also a plus.
