Job Title

Analytics Lead - Data Insights Specialist

About the Role

This position involves leading cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.

  • Work closely with global pricing and interchange teams to develop analytic solutions, utilizing complex statistical and data science techniques that adhere to best practices.
  • Translate business requirements into tangible technical solution specifications and high-quality deliverables.
  • Apply quality control, data validation, and cleansing processes to new and existing data sources.
Key Responsibilities

Develop dashboards and prototypes to communicate large volumes of data to support data insights across products, markets, and services.

  • Provide 1st-level insights/conclusions/assessments and present findings via Tableau/PowerBI dashboards, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Recruit, train, develop, and supervise analyst-level employees.
  • Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders in leadership, technology, sales, and product teams.
Requirements

A superior academic record at a leading university in Computer Science, Data Science, Technology, mathematics, statistics, or equivalent work experience.

  • High proficiency in using Alteryx, Python/Spark, Hadoop platforms & tools (Hive, Impala, Airflow), and advanced SQL to build Big Data products & platforms.
  • Demonstrated success interacting with stakeholders to understand technical needs and ensuring analyses and solutions meet their needs effectively.
  • Ability to build a strong narrative on the business value of products and actively participate in the product optimization efforts.
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in a Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, M.S./M.B.A. preferred.
