Job Title: Public Relations Communications Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic Communications and Public Relations Professional to develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies, enhance brand presence across multiple media channels, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations and communication, a postgraduate degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, and proficiency in design tools such as Canva and Photoshop. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Comprehensive PR Strategies: Create and execute strategic plans to enhance brand reputation, increase awareness, and drive business results.
  • Manage Media Channels: Oversee print, digital, social, and website media to optimize brand presence and engagement.
  • Create Engaging Content: Utilize Canva and Photoshop to craft compelling visual content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Draft and Distribute Press Releases: Develop and disseminate press releases to relevant media outlets to secure coverage and build relationships.
  • Grow Online Presence: Manage and maintain the company's online presence across various social media platforms.
  • C coordinate Print Media Coverage: Collaborate with print media for coverage and advertisements.
  • Monitor Media Coverage and Prepare Reports: Track media mentions and prepare reports on PR activities to inform future strategies.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations and communication.
  • Postgraduate degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Canva and Photoshop.
  • Strong understanding of print, digital, social, and website media.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
