Facility Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Facility Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our facility, ensuring seamless execution and efficiency. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs) for plastic waste stream aggregation, segregation, chipping, washing, QA, and QC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facility Management: Work closely with the facility team and workers to ensure timely delivery of consignments according to schedules.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve SoPs to optimize performance based on Lean manufacturing principles and six sigma design process.
  • Performance Enhancement: Increase throughput per day per worker and yield rates by developing individual performance-based models for workers.
  • Sourcing: Enhance plastic sourcing and supply from stakeholders by ensuring ethical sourcing and fair prices, working closely with the sourcing team.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Capacity Building: Conduct continuous capacity building and training of operation team members regarding operational efficiency, segregation, QA, and QC.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records and data as needed for meeting compliance requirements related to workforce, health, safety, and environment.

Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum Graduation/Engineering background in chemical or plastics preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in operations and managing people.
  • Skills: Background in lean manufacturing principles, good understanding of PET Stream, Segregation, Chipping, Washing, and Extrusion processes, and fluency in English, Kannada, and Hindi languages.
