Assistant Manager - Civil Projects Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Manager - Civil Projects to join our team. As an Assistant Manager - Civil Projects, you will play a crucial role in achieving our objectives.

  • You will ensure smooth handovers from project to building and utility teams, ensuring all statutory, safety, technical, and operation maintenance aspects are covered.
  • You will manage complete building maintenance work, including main process buildings, administration buildings, utility buildings, and infrastructure like roads, drains, reservoirs, and boundary walls.
  • You will enhance safety protocols by prioritizing safety in the maintenance process, creating a safe working environment for everyone.
  • You will drive continuous improvement through regular monitoring and analysis, identifying opportunities to improve existing systems, reduce costs, and enhance human safety.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Safety Compliance
  • Maintaining optimum condition of building infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of building bye-laws and National Building Code
  • Coordination with stakeholders, including production, admin, projects, and service providers
  • Adherence to preventive maintenance of the building

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong management and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Solid understanding of building design and upkeeping and maintenance procedures
  • Strong knowledge of low-humidity dry rooms and clean rooms
  • Knowledge of ISO/IATF standards to prepare and follow standards, manuals, check sheets, history cards, and contingency plans for building healthiness
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
