Data Analytics Practice Leader Job

We are seeking a seasoned data analytics leader to spearhead the growth and development of our healthcare data services for payer and provider organizations.

About the Role:

  • Lead Data Practice Building: Develop and execute strategies to build and scale data practices, including service offerings, delivery frameworks, and revenue growth.
  • Drive Business Development: Meet annual revenue contribution targets through new client acquisition and existing client expansion.
  • Establish Data Governance: Create standardized methodologies and tools that differentiate our services, ensure data quality, security, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, HITECH).
  • Define Data Strategy: Align data strategy with healthcare client business goals, lead implementation of analytics solutions using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and cloud platforms.
  • Foster Innovation: Build and mentor teams of data scientists, engineers, and analysts, collaborate with client executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Manage Technical Infrastructure: Reduce technical debt, develop predictive analytics and AI solutions for healthcare outcomes and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • Practice Building Experience: 10+ years in data leadership roles with proven track record building data practices, healthcare payer and provider technology services background required.
  • P&L Responsibility: Experience growing practices to significant revenue with enterprise clients, meeting or exceeding annual revenue contribution targets.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in database design, data modeling, and warehousing, strong SQL, Python/R programming skills, proficiency with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Healthcare Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of payer and provider operations and workflows, experience with healthcare analytics use cases (risk adjustment, quality reporting, population health), knowledge of healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements.

Leadership & Business Skills

  • Proven Team Leadership: Strong communication skills with ability to present to C-level executives, strategic thinking with ability to align data initiatives to business outcomes.
