Software Development Role

We are seeking an accomplished Software Engineer to join our team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing new features, maintaining and enhancing existing features, testing and deploying code, creating back-end components, integrating user-facing elements, and ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new features that meet the needs of our users while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Continuously improve and refine our existing features to ensure they remain relevant and efficient.
  • Thoroughly test code to ensure it is free from bugs and deploy it efficiently to production environments.
  • Design and develop back-end components that integrate seamlessly with front-end technologies.
  • Ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements with back-end components.
  • Optimize applications for cross-platform use to provide a consistent user experience across different devices.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in web-based software development.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Bitbucket, Git, Github, MVC, REST, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, Bootstrap framework, database technology, SQL programming (MySQL), Agile methodologies, Jira, Scrum, Linux distributions (Ubuntu).
  • Experience with frameworks like AngularJS, Angular, React, web servers like Apache, Nginx, cloud infrastructure (AWS), developing and maintaining APIs.
