Job Title: Cybersecurity Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced security professional to support the design, deployment, and ongoing operations of secure network infrastructure. This role requires in-depth knowledge of next-generation firewalls, including advanced threat protection and VPN services, as well as strong proficiency in managing load balancers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain firewalls, including NGFW features: IPS, application control, web filtering, antivirus, etc.
  • IPsec and SSL VPN tunnels for site-to-site and remote access
  • High Availability (HA) clustering and health checks
  • Firewall rules, NAT, routing, and segmentation policies
  • Manage and optimize load balancer appliances for:
  • Load balancing of web and application services
  • SSL offloading, certificate installation, and renewal
  • Content switching, rewrite/responder policies, and access control
  • Monitor and troubleshoot firewall and load balancer performance, logs, and alerts
  • Perform regular security rule reviews, software upgrades, and vulnerability remediation
  • Assist with incident response and forensic analysis involving firewall and load balancer traffic
  • Document configurations, procedures, and operational runbooks
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams to enforce security standards and support project needs

Requirements:

  • 5–8 years of experience in network security engineering roles
  • Deep hands-on experience with FortiGate firewalls, including NGFW and VPN features
  • 2–3 years of operational experience with Citrix NetScaler ADC
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing (BGP, OSPF), VLANs, and access control concepts
  • Experience managing security logs and events, and familiarity with SIEM workflows
  • Ability to perform detailed troubleshooting with packet capture and diagnostics tools
