Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Order Management Solutions Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of OM solutions, including design, configuration, and deployment.

This role requires a strong understanding of telecommunications architecture, as well as experience with Oracle's Rapid Service Design and Order Delivery solution. The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively with large software engineering teams and influence internal stakeholders.

The Order Management Solutions Designer will be responsible for planning and building designs for optimized solutions, security, capacity, and performance. They will also assess technical risks and issues on the systems and work closely with operations and build team colleagues to ensure timely resolution.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of OM platforms and collaborate with onshore and offshore designers and developers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Domain authority for OM solutions, advising architecture, build and operations colleagues within the domain on correct design, configuration, deployment, and usage of the systems
  • Accountable to the Domain Lead to plan good functional and non-functional behavior of the platform
  • Contribute to design and development on the OM platforms, collaborating with onshore and offshore designers and developers
  • Work together with others in the management team to ensure good quality and good value is delivered by the Domain to stakeholders and drive continuous improvement
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Practical expertise with OSM, UIM, and/or ASAP systems, preferably including design and development experience with these systems
  • Good general technical understanding of telecommunications architecture
  • Engineering knowledge in Oracle's Rapid Service Design and Order Delivery solution, particularly OSM and UIM
  • Ability to communicate effectively within a large software engineering team and influence a wide group of internal stakeholders
