We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced compliance professional to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements and maintaining effective corporate governance practices. The compliance professional will play a crucial role in advising the board of directors on corporate governance matters and ensuring that the company operates within legal and ethical standards.

Our organization has over 19 years of experience, having completed over 1500 projects under various delivery formats. We have exceeded four million square feet in office workspace alone. We are currently designing and executing over 1.5 million square feet a year in workspace, retail, and commercial interiors for Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies across industries like IT/ITES, BFSI, Real Estate, Media, FMCG, Pharma, Hospitals, MNCs, and multi-industry conglomerates.

The responsibilities of this role include:

Compliance Management:

  • Stay up-to-date with all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines affecting the company's operations.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor compliance frameworks and procedures.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to identify and address potential issues.

Corporate Governance:

  • Provide guidance to the board of directors on corporate governance best practices.
  • Organize and prepare materials for board and committee meetings.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.

Company Secretarial Functions:

  • Ensure all statutory and regulatory filings are completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain and update corporate records, including board minutes, resolutions, and other legal documents.
  • Facilitate communication between the board, management, and shareholders.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and assess potential legal and compliance risks.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a comprehensive understanding of potential risks.

Training and Awareness:

  • Conduct training sessions for employees on compliance-related matters.
  • Keep the team informed about changes in laws and regulations that may impact the business.

The ideal candidate should possess:

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Certified Compliance Professional
  • Minimum 7+ years of post-qualification business partnering experience
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, corporate actions, investor servicing, AR and GM /Postal Ballots handling, policy reviews, and Insider Trading Regulation Compliance & Material Event Awareness
  • Strong influencing skills & ability to work with Senior Leaders across functions
