Senior Standard Cell Library Engineer

We are seeking a skilled engineer to develop and optimize standard cell libraries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop the standard cell library from scratch and support existing libraries.
  • Optimize power, performance, and area tradeoff between different cell circuit architecture in realistic usage environments.
  • Collaborate with the layout team to define floor plans and layout guidelines for schematics, ensuring optimal design.
  • Design and implement combinatorial, power management, and sequential circuits.
  • Run equivalence verification (e.g., ESPCV) and verify functionality, performance, and power of developed circuits.
  • Characterize and generate views of libraries with custom PVT corners.
  • Model new and existing cells to support industry-wide PnR, Simulation, and Signoff tools.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work, design flows, and reports.
  • Automate manual tasks to reduce overall time and effort.

Requirements:

  • Experience in developing standard cell libraries.
  • Knowledge of power, performance, and area optimization and cell circuit architecture.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation and automate manual tasks.
  • Familiarity with electronic design automation tools.
