Senior Manager Job Description

This is a pivotal leadership role that oversees the end user computing services, ensuring seamless and secure digital experiences across various functions.

The ideal candidate will lead the development and execution of a long-term roadmap for modern workplace technologies, championing a user-first culture through proactive problem management and digital adoption strategies.

The Senior Manager will own the ITIL-aligned service lifecycle for end user services, lead and mentor a global team of IT professionals, and collaborate closely with Information Security, Infrastructure, HR, and Facilities.

A key responsibility of this role includes managing hardware/software refresh cycles, licensing compliance, procurement, and vendor relationships, as well as defining and tracking SLAs, KPIs, and user satisfaction metrics.

For success in this position, candidates must possess deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, leadership, communication, presentation, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for modern workplace technologies.
  • Champion a user-centric approach to problem management and digital adoption.
  • Oversight of ITIL-aligned service lifecycle for end user services.
  • Leadership and mentoring of a global team of IT professionals.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Information Security, Infrastructure, HR, and Facilities.
  • Management of hardware/software refresh cycles, licensing compliance, procurement, and vendor relationships.
  • Definition and tracking of SLAs, KPIs, and user satisfaction metrics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or Computer Science; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • ITIL V4 Intermediate certification.
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, and Azure Fundamentals certifications.
  • Strategic thinking, leadership, communication, presentation, and analytical skills.

Experience:

  • 15-20 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 8+ years in a leadership role managing end user services.
  • In-depth experience with Microsoft 365, Windows, MacOS, Intune, endpoint security solutions, and End User solutions.
  • Proven experience managing global teams, distributed environments, and hybrid (remote/onsite) user bases.
