Software Tester and Quality Assurance Professional

CognitiveBotics is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in software testing, with experience in STLC and SDLC. They will be proficient in writing test cases, test scenarios, and bug reports, and will have a good understanding of different types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, UAT, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documents to design effective test cases.
- Developing, maintaining, and executing detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Performing manual testing across web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Identifying, logging, tracking, and retesting defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Ensuring comprehensive test coverage and maintaining traceability between requirements and test cases.
- Participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings in an Agile/Scrum environment.
In addition to these key responsibilities, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work collaboratively with developers, product managers, and business analysts, and have a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
