About the Role

  • Strategic Leadership: Oversee all aspects of sterile injectable plant's operations, including production, quality, engineering, supply chain, and EHS.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
  • Operational Excellence: Foster continuous improvement in manufacturing efficiency, cost control, and product quality; drive digital initiatives like optical inspection and serialization.
  • People Management: Develop and guide a high-performing team while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and innovation.
  • Project Execution: Lead capacity expansions, technology transfers, and commissioning of new production lines, including lyophilization and isolator filling systems.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with corporate leaders, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to ensure alignment of plant operations with overall business goals.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Pharmacy (or MBA in Operations/Production)
  • At least 15 years of experience in sterile injectable manufacturing, including a minimum of 5 years in Site/Plant leadership within a similar production setting
  • Experience in sterile manufacturing within healthcare or medical devices
  • Proven ability to manage and lead multiple plant teams successfully
  • Solid knowledge of regulatory standards
