Job Title: DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR - APPLICATION SIDE

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator with expertise in Oracle application database administration to design, implement and maintain large-scale databases for our applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of Oracle application database concepts, proficiency in performance tuning techniques and experience working on complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  1. Database Design and Implementation: Collaborate with development teams to design data models, schema changes and migrations.
  2. Performance Tuning: Perform performance tuning and optimization of existing databases to improve query response times.
  3. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot database issues using various tools such as SQL Developer and Enterprise Manager.
  4. PL/SQL Development: Write, optimize and troubleshoot PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages and triggers.
  5. Application Support: Monitor and tune both application and database performance.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in Oracle application DBA role with expertise in Query optimization, cost analysis and performance tuning.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of Oracle application database concepts, proficiency in performance tuning techniques and experience working on complex projects.
