Cisco Network Engineer Job

We are looking for an experienced L3 Network Professional to lead our network operations.

This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing network solutions, as well as providing advanced support and guidance to the network team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Design and Implementation
  • Extensive hands-on knowledge of Multi-Pod and Multi-Site Cisco ACI design, implementation, and support, Tenant constructs, Application network profiles, Contracts, Fabric access policies, L3 extensions & Routing and L3 policies
  • Working knowledge of Citrix and F5 load Balancer products
  • Routing and Switching Expertise
  • In-depth knowledge of routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP and RIP
  • Hands on experience (Expert level) of Routing & Switching on vendor devices Cisco, Palo Alto, Citrix and Cisco ACI
  • Provide level 2 support as the final point of escalation and run with issues until the point of resolution
  • Troubleshooting and Support
  • Troubleshooting traffic flows via underlay and overlay
  • Strong Documentation skills
  • Leadership and Mentorship
  • Design and implement advanced network solutions
  • Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex network issues
  • Configure and optimize Cisco AAA servers
  • Manage and secure Cisco Next Gen Firewalls and Palo Alto Firewalls
  • Oversee the deployment and management of Citrix Load Balancers
  • Implement and manage Cisco ACI & SDN solutions
  • Technical Leadership
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the network team
  • Ability to assist with incident investigations through to timely resolution
  • Problem Solving Skills
  • Forward planning and ability to manage non-complex implementations
  • Excellent analytical & interpretive skills
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Develop and maintain network documentation and standards
  • ITIL Framework Knowledge
  • Good Knowledge of ITIL framework and Service management

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering, with expertise in Cisco ACI, SDx, Cisco IOS & NXOS. They should also possess excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, as well as superior communication and interpersonal skills.
