Job Description:

The role of the UI/UX Design Lead is to spearhead our design function, overseeing a small but growing team of designers to ensure that our products and brand deliver exceptional user experiences.

This position requires a mix of leadership, creativity, and hands-on design skills, along with the ability to mentor and grow design talent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of UI/UX and graphic designers.
  • Define and own the design vision, ensuring consistency across digital products and brand touchpoints.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with product, development, and SEO team members to translate business goals into user-friendly designs.
  • Establish and maintain design systems, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Manage project timelines, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality designs.
  • Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and methodologies.
Requirements:
  • Education: Degree/Diploma in Design, Visual Communication, or related field from a reputable design institution.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of professional design experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UI/UX design across web and mobile platforms.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent software.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in agile environments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey design decisions effectively.
