Job Description:

  • As a key member of our team, you will serve as a technical liaison and attend critical meetings to facilitate collaboration between project stakeholders. You will also be responsible for ensuring knowledge transfer is conducted with key customer project teams.
  • You will communicate business cases to senior management regarding customer-specific needs related to product functionality and enhancements.
  • Additionally, you will interact with Product Management Group and Product Development Team regarding new releases and new functionality, acting as the liaison to communicate with the rest of the team.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting functional analysis sessions with clients and/or project teams to understand functional needs and developing solutions to meet those needs.
  • Providing various forms of functional support to the project team, including quality assurance, design review, environment setup, software installation, configuration, report generation, operation consulting, troubleshooting, system testing, and programming.
  • Ensuring the successful delivery of product implementation and related integration services.
  • Working as a senior member of a consulting team on product implementation, enhancement, managed services, integration, custom projects at the customer site or offshore.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of corporate experience
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Engineering or other relevant discipline
  • Expertise in functional configuration of WMS products, Technical Integration, Quality Assurance, System Testing, and Performance Tuning
  • Hands-on experience with Technical configuration of WMS products (preferably JDA/RedPrairie WMS)
  • Knowledge on interfaces between WMS and ERP/Host, TMS, WLM, T&T, Parcel, 3rd party systems that integrate with WMS
  • Knowledge on integration between WMS and Voice / Material Handling / ASRS systems
  • In-depth knowledge of resolving issues through Trace files
  • Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance
  • Excellent computer skills with in-depth knowledge of operating systems, client/server technology, ERP systems, Integration and Middleware technologies, and applications
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with customers, partners, and consultants
  • Strong proactive communicator and presenter, able to influence and collaborate at all levels of an organization to maximize problem resolution while effectively presenting information and responding to highly specialized functional questions
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently effectively and proactively

  • Contributes to the growth of the functional consulting practice by developing and maintaining practice aids, databases, best-practice collateral
  • Ensures compliance with internal and external company policies and procedures: Company project methodology On-time submission of Time, Travel, and Expenses report Company procedures related to travel and expenses
  • Skill set and availability requirements as per the organization's needs
  • Knowledge in performance tuning techniques is an added advantage
  • Provides guidance to Support Services in responding to base functional issues
  • Understanding and experience with the functional requirements for the product line assigned
  • Understanding of Database structures Understanding of various functional platforms and infrastructures
  • Understands JDAs product suite so as to convey relationships and touch-points to the customer
  • Works with appropriate parties to ensure issues are resolved
  • Travel readiness based on business needs
