Senior Functional Consultant

About the Role :

We are hiring a Senior Functional Consultant with proven experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain (F&SC) to join a high-impact enterprise consulting team supporting global implementations.

This role is purely functional and requires deep understanding of end-to-end ERP processes, particularly in finance and supply chain domains.

You will play a strategic role in shaping implementation projects for enterprise clients and supporting global delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead setup and configuration of Dynamics 365 F&SC modules for global implementations.

- Perform detailed business process mapping aligned with Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-

Report, and Plan-to-Produce cycles.

- Conduct unit testing for configured processes to ensure system reliability and accuracy.

- Handle data transformation and migration into D365 systems, ensuring data integrity.

- Create functional documentation, SOPs, and training materials for business users.

- Conduct requirement gathering and discovery sessions with stakeholders from client organizations.

- Provide functional mentoring and guidance to junior consultants.

- Ensure quality delivery of assigned client deliverables and support project milestones.

- Coordinate with global counterparts to align project timelines and goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Minimum 5 years of experience in D365 Finance and Supply Chain modules.

- Proven end-to-end implementation experience (each project must be at least 1 year in duration).

Strong grasp of business processes :

- Finance: Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report

- Supply Chain: Order-to-Cash, Receive-to-Ship, Plan-to-Produce

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to conduct client workshops, gather requirements, and translate them into system functionality.

- Strong documentation and training delivery skills.

- Comfortable working in a hybrid model and client-facing role.

Mandatory Requirements :

- Implementation experience is a must - Profiles with only support background will be rejected.

- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

- Should be well-groomed and professionally presentable for video or face-to-face interviews.

- Willingness to work on-site 2 days a week (Hybrid model is non-negotiable).

Nice to Have :

- Exposure to D365 Customer Engagement (CE) and understanding of CRM workflows.

- Experience in global delivery models and working across time zones.

- Understanding of enterprise consulting environments and high-security project standards.

Interview Process :

- 2 Rounds of Interview (Functional & Managerial).

- Additional round may be conducted for in-depth evaluation of specific modules (e.g., CE or Field

Services).

- Standard evaluation format will include scenario-based problem solving and functional expertise checks.
