Job Description

The successful candidate will provide expert accounting services to a global organization. The role entails delivering timely and accurate financial services, including contract review, month-end close process, and rebate payment validation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review executed contracts and customer information in the revenue management system
  • Achieve timely and accurate close of the sub ledger and general ledger, including journal entries
  • Identify and prepare manual journal entries through analysis of close results, trends, and actuals
  • Prepare and review general ledger account reconciliations
  • Perform detailed review of rebate and incentive payment requests, including contract review and validation
  • Provide overall support and customer service to business partners throughout the organization
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and quality
  • Monitor performance indicators to track progress against goals
  • Support ad-hoc reporting and projects, as needed

Requirements:

  • Fresh degree or years of experience with CPA/CA certification (preferred)
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and current accounting concepts
  • Prior revenue, contra revenue, and/or contract management experience (preferred)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Progressive accounting experience in a large, global environment
  • Ability to deliver accurate results in a fast-paced environment
  • Robust understanding of financial systems, preferably ERP software
