Senior Software Architect Role

This position involves developing the software architecture of a product and overseeing the design and development of software components and modules for automotive SoC platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Software Framework Development: Design and architect the software framework for automotive SoC systems, considering performance, power efficiency, and safety-critical requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align software architecture with hardware design and automotive standards.
  • Design Leadership: Lead the design and development of software components and modules for automotive SoC platforms.
  • Industry Compliance: Implement software solutions in compliance with industry standards such as ISO 26262.
  • Performance Enhancement: Optimize software performance for real-time constraints and resource efficiency.
Additional Accountabilities:
  • Intellectual Property Support: Assist with Intellectual Property activities and generate Invention Disclosure Memos to facilitate patent applications.
  • Research and Innovation: Conduct research into new vision technology, ideas, and approaches.
  • Safety and Security Assurance: Ensure the software architecture meets safety and security standards relevant to automotive systems.
  • Requirements Management: Provide inputs and requirements to the Engineering discipline for the development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Programming Proficiency: Strong C, C++ programming skills or strong rapid prototyping skills in Enterprise Architect for Modeling, Experience in Doors.
  • Computer Vision Expertise: Good understanding of fundamental computer vision algorithms and approaches.
  • Communication Effectiveness: Excellent English language communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Innovation Drive: High level of innovation and motivation.
  • Research Experience: Excellent research experience.
  • Automotive Software Standards Knowledge: Experience with automotive software standards such as AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, and familiarity with communication protocols like CAN, Ethernet.
