Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Big Data Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and implementing big data analytics platforms using Spark, Kafka, Glue, EMR, Hudi, Schema Registry, and Data Lineage.

In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement big data pipelines using Spark, Kafka, Glue, EMR, Hudi, Schema Registry, and Data Lineage.
  • Develop and maintain large-scale data processing systems using Python/Java.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years of experience in big data engineering, including 3+ years of experience with Spark, Kafka, Glue, EMR, Hudi, Schema Registry, and Data Lineage.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree (M.Tech/MS) or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience will also be considered.
