About the Role

In this position, you will be responsible for translating product ideas into manufacturable designs, driving standardization, and ensuring customer feedback gets built into every iteration.

You will work closely with our design, manufacturing, and operations teams to engineer furniture products, prepare detailed technical drawings, and standardize these at the factory level.

This role involves running pilot tests and applying customer insights to create better iterations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain technical product drawings for products.
  • Work with manufacturing teams to standardize manufacturing processes as per drawings.
  • Collaborate with design and operations to balance aesthetics, function, and manufacturability.
  • Integrate user/customer feedback into product development cycles.
  • Conduct feasibility studies on new designs, materials, and joinery methods.
  • Support quality checks and product testing for durability, ergonomics, and usability.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure version control for product designs.
Requirements:
  • 1–2 years of engineering experience, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
  • Understanding of materials, joinery, and manufacturing processes.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on practical implementation.
  • Exposure to product testing and standardization.
  • Passion for design and interest in the furniture/home lifestyle industry.
