Job Title: Shift Manager

The purpose of this role is to oversee the daily operations of the data center, ensuring reliability and efficiency while meeting customer requirements and achieving Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the Team: Manage the shift team to execute planned and unplanned activities within set timelines while maintaining effective communication.
  2. Customer Complaints: Monitor and resolve customer complaints within SLA deviations.
  3. Incident Management: Manage incidents, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement recommendations in a timely manner, with regular review of RCA outcomes.
  4. Asset Management: Oversight of asset management, including warranties, AMC, lifecycle, and capacity management.
  5. 5 PPM Activities: Track and complete 5 PPM activities within target timelines, collaborating with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to ensure 100% equipment availability.
  6. Vendor Relationships: Maintain vendor relationships, manage Return Authorization Tickets (RAT) and Time-to-Answer (TAT) on complaints, ensuring uptime of redundant equipment.
  7. Inventory Management: Ensure accurate tracking and record-keeping of all stocks as per Business Continuity Plan (BCP) requirements.
  8. Reporting: Coordinate with Customer Engineering teams to address customer inquiries and submit reports on time.
  9. Audit Compliance: Maintain 100% compliance with periodic trackers.
  10. Physical Security: Adhere to Physical Security Process and maintain records.
  11. Risk Assessment: Prepare risk assessments and periodic validations based on incidents and RCA outcomes.
  12. Inventories Update: Update inventories accurately, balancing capacity versus accompany versus balance on a monthly basis, with customer details included in rack inventory.
  13. Timely Reporting: Submit reports on time, adhering to agreed-upon timelines.
  14. Audit Standards: Achieve 100% audit and compliance standards.
  15. HSE Practices: Demonstrate knowledge in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) practices.
