Migration Expert Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead a critical project: migrating our email security platform from Barracuda to Microsoft Defender for Office 365. This involves decommissioning the existing Barracuda system, ensuring all mail flow rules, security policies, and configurations are properly retired. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with email security platforms, Microsoft 365 security tools, and a strong understanding of secure email gateway configurations and migrations.

The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and executing the retirement of the Barracuda email security firewall. They will deploy and configure Microsoft Defender for Office 365 features, including anti-phishing, anti-malware, and threat investigation tools. Additionally, they will ensure a smooth transition with minimal business disruption and document the migration process for internal teams.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute the retirement of the Barracuda email security firewall.
  • Deploy and configure Microsoft Defender for Office 365 features, including anti-phishing, anti-malware, and threat investigation tools.
  • Ensure a smooth transition with minimal business disruption.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience with Barracuda Email Security Gateway and Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Exchange Online Protection (EOP).
  • Familiarity with secure email protocols, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, and threat detection tools.
  • Experience managing or supporting email migration projects.
About this role:
