Hotel Gianz Baddi seeks a skilled and organized individual to serve as its Store Manager. As a key member of the hotel's inventory team, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, receiving and processing deliveries, and ensuring seamless store operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Receive and process deliveries, verifying quantities and quality of goods received.
  • Maintain organized and clean storage areas, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Process store requisitions, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with purchasing team to order and receive inventory, resolving any vendor delivery issues that may arise.
  • Conduct regular checks on storage facilities to ensure proper upkeep and hygiene standards.
  • Verify all goods received against agreed purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of all areas, maintaining strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure all store requisitions are signed by concerned Department Heads and approved by FC/GM, as per hotel operations procedure.
  • Verify that quantity requested and quantity issued always match.
  • Post all invoices using the MMS – Material Management System.
  • Conduct physical stock audits on a regular basis, tallying counts with inventory levels from the MMS.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between manual and system counts, providing necessary information to the Finance Department.
  • Assist Accounts Payable Clerk/payable assistant in identifying and resolving cost discrepancies.
  • Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies, extending requisitions daily and updating the inventory management system.
  • Work closely with purchasing team to order and receive items and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot vendor delivery issues and oversee return process.
  • Follow up on documentation of after-hours issues, ensuring compliance with internal controls and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
  • Communicate effectively with others using clear and professional language.
  • Keep accurate records of all incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Notify the store manager/supervisor of low stock levels.
