The Role:

  • Validate strategy with stakeholders
  • Implement test strategy while leading teams
  • Assist project risk analysis, testing scope, and scheduling
  • Identify level of test coverage required and weak areas
  • Liaise with Project Leads and Departmental Managers on schedule impact, test coverage
  • Establish testing practices and department organization
  • Prioritize and allocate resources to multiple projects
  • Lead tools development for Efficiency and Infrastructure
  • Work with product management, engineering, and sales to determine customer use cases

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Build-to-test automation, continuous integration experience
  • Automated testing & test-driven development skills
  • Excellent programming skills with Pytest
  • Knowledge of Agile/Lean software development methodologies
  • Experience in one or more of the following domains: Unix, Linux, RTOS, SQL, database management, Linux system configuration, Network Functions Virtualization
  • Good knowledge of Open protocol standards such as Diameter and/or REST interfaces
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Deal well with ambiguous problems; ability to think abstractly
  • Good testing acumen and attention to detail
  • Motivated, positive attitude, team player, self-motivated
  • Ability to effectively articulate technical test challenges into automated test solutions
