Director - Fundraising

Our goal is to advance philanthropy as a force for justice, equality, peace and sustainability.

We are looking for a Director - Fundraising to lead our fundraising efforts across high net worth individuals, corporations, foundations and digital platforms.

  • Develop a comprehensive 3-year fundraising strategy with targets by segment and program.
  • Own the full donor lifecycle from research to stewardship.
  • Design multi-year giving vehicles such as anchor gifts, challenge funds and cause marketing.
  • Represent the organization with credibility and build trust with diverse stakeholders.
  • Secure partnerships with influential networks in India and abroad.
  • Partner with Comms to run an integrated brand + fundraising calendar.
  • Oversee investment-grade proposals, decks and impact reports.
  • Lead fundraising efforts across the organization.
  • Collaborate with global teams.
  • Implement a CRM or DMS system.

To succeed in this role you will need:

  • To convert meaningful conversations into concrete commitments.
  • To navigate high net worth individual, corporate, foundation and public ecosystems.
  • To be fluent in budgets and unit economics.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Master's degree in Marketing, Business or Communications.
  • 8-10+ years of direct fundraising experience with a proven track record.
