Job Title: Data Management Strategist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Data Management Strategist to lead our offshore Master Data team.

  • Coach and develop team members to ensure high performance and achieve Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaborate with the NoCC team to standardize and automate processes, increasing efficiency.
  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of financial and non-financial operations.
  • Manage master data set-up, modification, and maintenance in systems.
  • Develop and implement training programs, routine activities, and compliance measures.
  • Foster relationships between GCC, business units, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:

Master Data Management Activities Execution:

  • Manage the Master Data team within agreed timeframes and quality levels.
  • Quality check master data set-up to prevent infractions impacting business operations or customer relationships.
  • Ensure efficient end-to-end master data process management.
  • Support project initiatives and actively participate in their execution.

General Management Activities:

  • Implement MICS/Risk Management/Audit Compliance target management, including sustainability model creation and action plans for open issues (MICS, GRM, and EP Audit with 100% Quality).
  • Develop backup plans (100% for the team).
  • Maintain the Training Tracking Tool and create action plans to minimize knowledge gaps.
  • Achieve SLA/KPIs and update monthly, monitor team performance, and take corrective actions to close gaps.
  • Ensure process training documentation (L5) maintenance and updates according to EP standards.
  • Review and recommend workflow enhancements to increase efficiency.
  • Perform routine management (cascade, stand-up, one-to-one, etc.) according to Excellence Program.
  • Establish effective communication flows to and from the team.
  • Share best practices within the overall business.
  • Assist in developing procedures for non-recurring transactions and events.
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Functional Lead.
People Management:

Lead people management activities ensuring compliance with safety procedures and safety training requirements.

  • Equip the teamwork to perform their duties and responsibilities effectively.
  • Execute administrative people management tasks.
  • Create and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Implement People Cycle according to Excellence Program (targets setting, cascading, competency appraisal, operational performance review, personal development plans, recovery plans, etc.).
  • Strategy the People plan and be responsible for Project-related activities from Functional Lead and ensure timely delivery with expected quality.
