Cloud Infrastructure Specialist Opportunity

This is a remote Cloud Infrastructure Specialist opportunity available for a Singapore-based client. The role offers the possibility of working from home, adhering to Singapore's working hours and public holidays.

This one-year renewable contract provides an exciting chance for experienced professionals to work on various projects, utilizing their skills in cloud infrastructure management, troubleshooting, and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proficiently implement, manage, and troubleshoot AWS Technologies, including ECS and EKS.
  • Operate Systems such as AWS Linux and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
  • Maintain, manage, and monitor cloud infrastructure.
  • Resolve IT infrastructure issues promptly.
  • Proactively handle project implementation and provide supporting documentation.
  • Support out-of-hours work if required by the schedule.
  • On-board new cloud technologies and challenge existing implementations professionally.
  • Engage in cloud security activities.
  • Comply with ITSM/ITIL methodologies in daily operations of IT infrastructure.
Requirements:
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification is mandatory.
  • At least three years of experience in AWS Cloud or a related field are required.
  • Familiarity with cloud security tools like Checkpoint, Security Hub, GuardDuty, and AWS Detective is essential.
  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Engineering (Computer), or equivalent qualification.
Technical Skills:
  • Operating Systems: Red Hat and AWS Linux
  • Build Tools/CI/Virtual/: AWS DevOps and Jenkins
  • Containers Environment: Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, and EKS
  • Cloud Technologies: Amazon Web Services
  • Automation/Scripting Languages: Terraform, Ansible, Shell Scripting, and Python
  • Databases: MySQL
