Financial Analysis Position

The role of a Financial Analyst involves overseeing all monthly financial accounting aspects for designated legal entities in the APAC region under the direction of the Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurate posting of month end accruals and prepayments to capture costs for local and US reporting needs.
  • Setup and input bank transactions into the ledger as journals.
  • Daily cash report production for all APAC businesses.
  • Review daily cash requirements ensuring appropriate funding arrangements.
  • Monthly journal setup and posting for depreciation and supporting spreadsheet updates.
  • Certain Treasury functions including payment processing, Interco invoice settlement, and maintaining optimal cash levels in local bank accounts.
  • Production of trial balances for relevant countries meeting month end close US reporting deadlines.
  • Management information provision for UK and local needs as required.
  • P&L review, Flux analysis, and cost control support.
  • Year end audit, statutory accounts, and tax returns coordination with the Finance Manager, local advisors, and other team members.
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliation of control accounts, bank accounts, and asset debtor and creditor accounts based on risk category.
  • Integrity of accounts ensured through liaison with other Finance team members within the APAC region and overseas.
  • VAT and other local statutory and tax reporting adherence.
  • Group Finance policies and procedures consistently applied.
  • Operational managers and local employees key contact for finance queries.
