Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our QA team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Responsibilities
  • Automated Testing: Develop and execute automated test scripts using various tools such as Selenium, WebdriverIO, Protractor, Cypress, and Playwright to validate application functionality.
  • Test Automation Frameworks: Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks utilizing Page Object Model (POM) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) with Cucumber, Mocha/Jest to ensure efficient testing processes.
  • Data Validation: Write and optimize SQL and SOQL queries to validate data in relational databases and Salesforce, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
  • Pipeline Integration: Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions to streamline testing and deployment processes.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and coverage gaps, ensuring comprehensive testing and quality assurance.
  • Testing and Analysis: Perform functional, regression, cross-browser, and data validation testing, analyzing and troubleshooting automation failures, logging detailed defects in tracking tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps.
  • Quality Metrics: Report on quality metrics and continuously improve automation coverage and reliability, ensuring high-quality software applications.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or TestNG, and knowledge of database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
  • Tools and Technologies: Experience with agile development methodologies, version control systems like Git, and continuous integration/continuous deployment tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
