About the Role:

  • Deliver high-quality software by adhering to best engineering practices and principles.
  • Emphasize First-Time Right, Automation, Reusability, Maintainability, and Secure Coding in daily work.
  • Develop holistic designs for development using Test-Driven Development to ensure reusability and extensibility of capabilities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project scope, estimate timelines, and create approaches and designs for features/epics.
  • Implement architectural and design principles to improve performance, capacity, and scalability.
  • Take ownership while working in a SAFe Agile model with developers, BAs, Architects to meet business and performance goals.
  • Drive conversations with internal and external stakeholders to ensure software meets business objectives and quality standards.
  • Participate in code reviews (self and team) and suggest/fix defects/design issues.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of product features according to the Product Roadmap.
  • Support issue analysis/triaging and provide fixes during test phases, as well as production issue resolution to meet key Product SLAs.
  • Conduct thorough unit testing & participate in the transition of application components to testers.
  • Present and highlight features in product demos to wider audiences/customers.

About You:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in software architecture and design (Java/.Net/Oracle/SQL and web services).
  • Exposure to cloud applications including DevOps, Deployment, Jenkins, Jira.
  • Experience in RESTFul Webservices & API framework, OAS3 APIs.

Other Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering; Master's degree a plus.
  • Experience with Agile Development practices and processes.
  • Experience with packaged software (Products) preferably in the banking, insurance or financial services areas.
