Our ideal candidate is a meticulous QA professional with hands-on experience in data validation. They will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our software solutions built on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and reports to ensure seamless execution.
  • Perform thorough data-level validations including schema checks, completeness, integrity, and freshness validations to identify defects early.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to automate test cases using GCP services like Cloud Composer (or Apache Airflow), BigQuery, and SQL.
  • Monitor GCP cloud logs, build dashboards, and provide regular status updates on execution/validation progress.
  • Identify, log, and track defects; manage defect triage with stakeholders effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Hands-on data validation skills.
  • Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries for testing large data sets.
  • Ability to work extensively with GCP services, especially BigQuery.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
