Data Engineer
Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and accomplished Data Engineer to fill this key role. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in designing, developing, and maintaining complex data pipelines using PySpark.
The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop innovative data solutions that meet those needs. They will be responsible for implementing scalable data processing architectures and ensuring seamless data integration across the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing efficient data pipelines using PySpark
- Implementing complex business logic using Spark SQL, DataFrame, and RDD APIs
- Developing expertise in cloud services such as AWS S3, AWS Glue, and Redshift
- Collaborating with teams to integrate data from various sources and ensure data consistency
- Strong experience in PySpark and its ecosystem
- Hands-on expertise in building scalable data pipelines using PySpark
- Proficiency in using Spark SQL, DataFrame, and RDD APIs to implement complex business logic
- Proficient programming skills in Python (preferred)
- Solid coding skills in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles
- Familiarity with modern data engineering tools and technologies
- Knowledge of distributed data processing, storage systems, and workflow orchestration tools
