Development Specialist

The Development Specialist is accountable for advancing development tasks such as coding, debugging, and testing of complex scope using established principles.

  • Works collaboratively within the team, under broad guidance, and possesses the ability to apply personal judgment and independently determine a course of action.
  • Creates high-level and low-level design documents based on functional requirements as marketable features or use cases.
  • Has excellent knowledge of the primary product technology.
  • Follows industry-standard coding best practices.
  • Assists colleagues with design reviews, code reviews, implementation, and existing implementation information.
  • Expert in one or more product modules.
  • Good understanding of core secondary product modules.
  • Knowledge of AI and its incorporation into workflow streams for productivity gains.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develops high-level and low-level designs for given sets of functional requirements as marketable features or use cases.
  2. Possesses good command over the primary product technology.
  3. Follows best coding practices.
  4. Collaborates with peers on design reviews, code reviews, implementations, and information about existing implementations.
  5. Expert in one or more product modules.
  6. Good understanding of core secondary product modules.
  7. Aware of AI capabilities and how to integrate them into workflows for productivity enhancements.
Requirements:
  • Advanced knowledge of SDLC, operating systems, algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming systems, and databases.
  • Experience working on n-tier desktop or client-side web applications using one or more web and UI frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of web server technologies and non-functional requirements like scalability, performance, and security.
  • Understanding of AI and its application to enhance productivity.
