Quality Assurance and Control Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures.
  • Conduct quality audits, perform inspections, and identify quality issues for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance to ensure workflows and products comply with safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with operations managers to develop and implement controls and improvements.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot product or production issues.
  • Develop corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.
  • Review codes, specifications, and processes to monitor all incoming and final inspection activities.
  • Verify Raw material and inspect bought-out components.
  • Train quality and production personnel to improve quality and reduce rejection.
  • Prepare Inspection reports on time and maintain Rejection, Rework records.
  • Monitor 5'S at the department.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma with adequate experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality Assurance/Control, or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Codes (ASTM SEC II Part A & B, Sec IX, Sec V, Sec VII).
  • ISO knowledge.
  • Familiarity with 7 QC tools.
  • Teamwork, Interpersonal skills, good written and oral communication, and attention to detail.
  • Technical understanding, Design skills.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Inspection skills.
  • Experience in Quality Auditing and Quality Management.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.

Additional qualifications such as certifications in quality control and assurance, experience in manufacturing or construction sectors, and knowledge of statistical analysis software would be beneficial.
