Interior Design Faculty Position

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Interior Design faculty member to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching interior design courses, mentoring students, and contributing to curriculum development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate diploma students core and elective courses in interior design
  • Prepare lesson plans, course materials, and assignments
  • Guide students in practical studio work, projects, and portfolio development
  • Evaluate student performance through assessments and reviews
  • Stay updated with current trends, tools, and technologies in interior design
  • Participate in academic meetings, workshops, and faculty development programs
  • Support institute events, exhibitions, and guest lectures
  • Provide academic and career guidance to students

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of teaching or industry experience in interior design
  • Portfolio of work or prior teaching experience is an added advantage

Desirable Skills:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Revit, etc.
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring students
  • Ability to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20,000.00 - $25,000.00 per month
